Industrybuying has come a long way since its incorporation in 2013. Owning to the utmost dedication and hard work put in by the employees for better growth of the company, it has been able to mark its fourth anniversary this year on 25th of March. To break the monotony of closed spaces, it was decided that we would be spending the day at an adventure camp- Camp Wild, Dhauj. It was quite exciting for us as it would take us closer to nature and allow us to participate in lots of outdoor activities. Also, it would mean to be an antidote for office stress.
The day took off on an exciting note with team building activities that involved thrilling adventure activities such as Rock climbing, Hiking, flying fox etc. The corporate team building was one of the most amazing activities conducted at Camp Wild. The underlying aim of this activity was to understand the unexplored side of the various team members. A good number of gaming activities were conducted to discover the potential of the various team members in the different creative aspects. Set in a home-grown forest, the Adventure Obstacle Park in Camp Wild offered many thrilling activities like Burmah Bridge, Commando Net, Balance Walk, Tunnel Walk, Monkey Crawl etc. The lunch was finger-licking good, in a large dining area, served in buffet style. Great dance shows, singing, mimicry, role plays, and games by the company’s employees added to the liveliness of the event. Scintillating dance performances by enthusiastic groups within the company enhanced the charm of the day. The creative programs by the enthusiasts and the spontaneous applause from the audience added to the gaiety and the spirit of celebrations. The various performances on stage were all conceived and produced by our employees purely on their interest and marked a testimony to their creativity and enthusiasm. Lots of selfies, a dance floor, rain dance, loud DJ, short stress-buster programs and team building activities added on to the list.
The advantages of such corporate get-together events are multifold. Higher employee morale, camaraderie, sense of belonging, employee engagement, a chance to mingle, party and make more friends. All of these factors contribute to higher employee engagement, better productivity on long term basis and lower attrition rates. These enticing celebrations bring the employees out of their shell and urge them to display their party animal side. The annual day events prove to be the perfect mix of fun and leisure. The underlying theme of such celebrations is the success of the business organization on the path of their goal achievement. Such events not only act as a source of relaxation to the employees but also instill in them a new kind of freshness and motivation to work even harder towards achieving the goals.
The idea of adding a dash of charm to the routine of the employees proved to be a brilliant idea. Occasions like these are meant to specify the idea that there’s more to life than just work. The intention to have an annual day celebration was commendable and this day was well-embraced by the employees. We wish Industrybuying celebrates many more years with the same spirit!
