Sumax 106-06-000 Outside Micrometer is an excellent choice for most machining and metal fabrication applications. It features a long list of specifications, including a 0.01mm resolution, 150mm measurement range and 125-150mm size range. The outside micrometer is manufactured from high grade steel with a bright chrome finish and can be used to measure internal or external diameters or oversize holes by placing the spindle opposite the micrometer barrel. The micrometer has a hardened anvil and spindle, which are fitted with thumb screws for fine adjustment. The user can set the reference screw for zero reading. It comes with a thimble to protect the item being measured from scratches and wear. A scale protector is provided for protection from damage/dirt due to the work area environment.
