IB BASICS Foot Suction Apparatus IB-3208B

The IB-3208B Foot Suction Apparatus is a portable device for suctioning fluids from the skin and soft tissues. The device consists of an electric motor (115V or 230V) with a cooling fan and a safety valve. A motor-driven pump and a flexible tube supplied with one or more types of nozzles are included in the product. It is designed to allow staff to perform routine foot care and wound management. The unit produces a gentle negative pressure on the skin through its air-activated pump system of cylindrical rubber diaphragm. This device is easy to use, portable, inexpensive and can be cleaned easily.

It provides a continuous suction of tissue and fluids of the surgical site below atmospheric pressure. It is used on both dry and wet fields. It is a Suction Apparatus which reduces the intake of atmospheric air in the suction pipe by means of compressed air. It is used to demonstrate the principle of vacuum, gas flow and resistance.
