Berger 500 ml Red Oxide Primer

Berger Red Oxide Primer is a solvent-based product intended for application on metal surfaces before the application of any other coatings. It is formulated with a special anti-blush agent that gives high hiding power, excellent adhesion and low odor during application. The metal oxide primer is a synthetic alkyd enamel primer with a high affinity to water-repellent coatings. It is suitable for application on galvanized and unpainted steel, aluminium, zinc plated surfaces, glass fibre reinforced felts and asbestos boards. When applied on ferrous materials it significantly increases the adhesion of paint and serves as a rust converter. It can be applied to both new and existing walls, ensuring that they are loaded with the right amount of absorbency before the application of other finishing materials.
