Nerolac Excel Alkali Primer is a high quality alkali resistant primer offering excellent adhesion to lime-treated masonry surfaces and renders. This house paint is used for external cement plasters & concrete surfaces which are prone to efflorescence/lime blooming. It resists efflorescence and is suitable for dense and heavily aluminous masonry coatings with hard setting times (3 hours) above 10 days in dry climates or below 5 days in very hot climates. It is recommended for use on cement plaster, concrete and lime-rich walls which are prone to efflorescence or ‘blooming’. It can be used as a standalone primer or in conjunction with the Alkali Resistant Undercoat. It is a water based alkali resistant primer designed to be used on surfaces such as plaster and concrete that are prone to lime/efflorescence.
