Nerolac Red Oxide Primer is a two-component, acrylic, two-pack metal primer. It is used to prime iron and steel surfaces in applications where corrosion protection and adhesion are important. This product provides long-term corrosion protection when exposed to atmospheric conditions. A single coat of this product provides a high level of factory finish.The primer can be applied manually or with spray equipment (troubleshooting section on the back label). Use only after desanding any debris from the surface (like paint etc.) it is a multi-purpose two-component epoxy based protective coating for all types of steel and iron. This product is suitable for priming weld seams, as a direct coat on rusty surfaces and to protect the base metal from atmospheric corrosion. It is used as a decorative or protective finish on ferrous substrates. It is recommended for use on steel surfaces such as ships and construction machinery, machinery parts such as spindles/shafts, etc.
