The Metrix+ 1250A Digital AC Clamp Meter is a portable, high-accuracy measuring instrument that converts AC or DC voltage readings into the clamp ranges of 0-1000 volts, 0-2kΩ and 0-1000 Amps. The digital clamp meter has an easy-to-read 3½ digit LCD display that counts 1999 and a speedy response time. It can measure up to 1000 Amps at full scale and has alligator clips and a battery. This clamp meter runs on one 9V battery. The simplicity of operation allows you to get started quickly, even if it is your first time using an electronic test meter.
The display backlight can be adjusted by pushing a button on the upper side. With a carbide-tipped screwdriver probe and insulated handles, this digital clamp meter is durable enough for use in rough environments.
