IB Basics Magnetic pump MP-50 (4.6Mtr.)

The IB Basics Magnetic Pump is designed for general applications for air and liquids transfer without supervision. This pump has four ports and a magnetic base and can be used for multiple applications. The standard MP-50 model magnetic pump has been designed to handle most domestic applications, such as pumping water from a well. The 5000 Gpm/Hr model offers maximum performance, while the smaller MP-20 and MP-30 models are optimal for inflatables or mobile applications.

This magnetic pump is designed to provide efficient, rapid and cost effective measurement of magnetic fields. It uses the magnetic principle of attraction of iron powder particles to form a vortex flow that carries the sample through the probe. This process is described as a fluid dynamic suspension separator. The sample container in this pump is a standard 50ml bottle that can be fitted to the outlet opening of the magnetic probe. The container is detachable from the magnetic probe by internal screw threads and can be easily decanted into smaller bottles or flasks by inverting it over a container.
