The Ultrasonic Gas Leakage Detector is applicable to locate the source of the ultrasonic emissions generated by the gas or air leaks. The detector consists of a transmitter unit (transducer) and receiver unit (receiver). The transmitter generates high frequency sound waves which are transmitted through a cable to the receiver. If there is an air leak at any point along the cable, it transmits a signal back to the receiver which indicates this with an audible alarm.

The ultrasonic pulse wave and its echo are transmitted by the transmitter. The receiver picks up and processes the signal. The transmitter and receiver are connected by a coaxial cable with a diameter of 5mm. They have an operating range of up to 1m (3ft).

The ULD540 is equipped with an electronic circuit that detects, amplifies and processes the received signals from 4 different directions: left, right, forward and behind. The distance from the transmitter to each direction can be adjusted from 30cm to 3m (1ft - 10ft), according to your needs. The digital display shows you the direction where the leak is located.

The ULD540 has a built-in battery which allows it to be used anywhere without connecting it to an external power supply. It also has an integrated alarm system that warns you when a leak is detected or when there is no signal being transmitted by the transmitter unit after several seconds of operation.
