HPM HEERA-44 2-4-D Ethyl Ester 38% Ec is a clear, homogeneous, stable liquid formulation. The efficacy is good against diseases such as Helminthsporium leaf spot of groundnut, pink disease of cucumber, root rot of cauliflower and anthracnose of onion. It can be used as an effective herbicide for the control of broad-leaved weeds, annual and perennial grasses, chicory, johnsongrass and other herbaceous or woody plants in lawns and pasturelands, timothy hay meadows, vineyards, orchards and croplands as well as used in forestry sites to eliminate invasive species of trees such as acacia.

The product has been developed for its unique combination of herbicide and plant growth regulator activities with rapid action on the weeds. It contains two active ingredients, imazethapyr and maleic hydrazide, giving it dual spectrum activity against 22 of 24 significant weeds. Imazethapyr inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme in susceptible plants. This product is a type of pesticide that can be used on various pests such as moths, caterpillars and beetles.
