The A53014 Modular Spool Solenoid Valve, with G25 coil power consumption and voltage range of ± 10%, 7.5 VA pull, and 5 VA hold on AC supply and 3 Watt for DC supply. This device is designed for use with fluids that are compatible with both air and water. The A53014 has a female 1/4" NPT union connection head and can be used in liquid tight enclosures or various positions, including vertical, horizontal and inverted (upside down) applications. This combination of the solenoid valve, spool and mechanism offers an extremely reliable switching method and is highly suited for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The valve provides a means to control flow in a process using an electrically operated actuator. The actuator consists of an armature coupled to a load directed toward or away from the disc that forms part of the valve seat in the body of the valve, resulting in the opening or closing of the valve.
