Its special spring loaded latch mechanism for long lasting usage. Key required to open the lock. Zinc alloy die-cast chrome finish. The mortise lock is a great addition to your home, especially for those with sliding cabinets, shutters or sliding wardrobe shutters. The lock is ideal for any sliding doors in your home. There are two different types of locks; one is spring loaded and the other has a continuous spring. The spring loaded latch mechanism on the locks is great since it will last longer than others. Another thing that makes this unique is the key needed to open the lock. This prevents children from getting hurt while playing since they can't open it themselves if they get locked in. There are 2 different finishes that are zinc alloy die cast chrome and solid brass polished chrome. Mortise Lock is an easy solution to sliding cabinet and wardrobe shutters that need to be locked into place. It is a special spring-loaded latch mechanism which can lock automatically to the side of the cabinet. It comes with a key required for opening the lock.
