It is also used to compare the efficiency of different fillers, granulators & compressors in the process of powder bed formation.This product is specially designed for the packing process of powder beds during the process of tablet manufacturing, capsule filling & cosmetics. The apparatus is installed with an automatic device for preset strokes, which can be programmed from 1 to 999. The digital display with a digital counter is supplied without a cylinder.Originally, the bulk density apparatus used a mechanical counter to measure the number of strokes. The counter relied on the rotation of a cylinder filled with water and was connected to a pendulum that would strike pins at every tenth increment from 0 to 99. While effective, a mechanical system was prone to breaking down over time, which is why this modern version has been designed with an integrated digital counter instead.
