KUSAM-MECO presents Digital Anemometer - KM 910 MK-1. The KUSAM-MECO anemometer is a device that measures wind speed and direction. It is a common weather station instrument. It attaches to the roof of a building or to a mast, and it has two wind cups, one on each side, that spin around as the wind blows. A mechanical register inside the device counts the revolutions of the cups and converts that number into an estimate of wind speed.
Professional Anemometer can be used for two different applications. For one it can measure Wind Speed & Direction as well as Atmospheric Pressure (with optional accessories) at the same time. And for the other, it can measure only Wind Speed or Atmospheric Pressure (with optional accessories) at the same time.
KUSAM-MECO’s test instruments are built to last and to withstand tough day-to-day usage, incorporating highest quality components, built-in electrical overload protection systems and rugged construction.Good quality instruments are essential for good quality data; they should be built using the best available materials and components, with great care taken in the assembly process to ensure that the instruments are robust enough to stand up to frequent use without giving spurious readings.KUSAM-MECO’s test instruments are designed and manufactured in accordance with international standards such as ISO9001:2008 and ISO17025:2005.

A thermometer measures the temperature of a patient’s body for clinical reasons. They are used in the medical field to diagnose and treat a number of illnesses from fevers to infections. They can also be used to determine if food is cooked, or if a baby is sick with a high temperature. The use of a thermometer dates back as early as the 1500’s when it was used to measure human body temperature as well as liquid temperatures. The first thermometer was made by Galileo Galiei who filled a glass bulb with mercury and hung it in a container of water. It was not until 1714 that Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit created the first modern mercury based thermometer with the help of his glassblower, Mr. Jungermann. Mercury was used in thermometers until the late 1800’s when doctors realized it could be toxic to humans causing serious illness and death.
Today, infrared thermometers are being used more frequently instead of mercury thermometers because they are not harmful to humans or animals. Infrared thermometers measure the surface temperature of objects (e.g., human skin). So, how does an infrared thermometer work? An infrared thermometer uses infrared radiation which is radiated or transmitted from an object (the patient or food)
