Pot magnets are widely used to clamp and grip ferrous parts in various industries like Automotive, Heavy Engineering, General Manufacturing, etc. The design of pot magnets is such that when the two halves of a pot magnet are brought together it clamps onto the material and grips it firmly. This feature makes them ideal for applications where an object needs to be held while machining or drilling takes place. In addition, PML Pot Magnets can be used as magnetic holders in other applications like machine tool spindles. They are also commonly used in the construction industry as they help in forming steel structures by holding them at right angles or positioning them easily at specific locations. PML Pot Magnets are made from Alnico Magnet which is a rare earth magnet alloy made using aluminum, nickel and cobalt as raw materials. The material has an extremely high resistance to corrosion which makes it suitable for use in environments prone to contact with chemicals or high temperatures. It is also considered as one of the strongest permanent magnets available on the market today. Due to its high resistance to corrosion and chemical erosion, PML Pot Magnets can withstand operating temperatures up to 400°C. Features: OD- 50mm, Width - 40mm, Tapped Hole - M8 The 'deep' pot proportions provide excellent performance and stability. Pot Magnet is supplied with metal keepers - Stops leakages of Magnetic Flux when not in use. North Pole is located in the center. The absence of epoxy bind allows for high temperatures and chemical stripping applications High Maximum Operating Temperature: 400°C
