Uniweld presents Manifold LPF 3" HP Hose - QS4L3H-5. These gauges are devices that measure the amount of refrigerant or gas in a cooling system, such as the refrigerator in your kitchen or an air-conditioning unit that cools a room. In some cases, they also measure low- and high-pressure, a measurement of how much pressure the gas is under. The gauge measures this pressure with either digital or mechanical gauges.
Digital gauges have a digital readout of the pressure and can be used when troubleshooting issues such as leaks to help determine whether the leak is coming from inside or outside the system. Mechanical gauges are considered more accurate but require regular calibration to ensure they're working properly. The most common type is analog, which has a needle that rises and falls with changes in the pressure.
Manifold Gauge Sets usually include one or two temperature probes that attach to different parts of a system to ensure the temperature inside and outside of the unit remains at an appropriate level. They can be inserted into liquid lines, such as those on a heat pump, or into a suction line to measure how effectively it's pulling in coolant. These sets come in several sizes that fit different systems and will sometimes include multiple adapters to ensure compatibility with all kinds of plumbing systems. The manifold gauge, sometimes referred to as a HVAC gauge or a refrigeration gauge, is used to determine both low- and high-pressure readings for refrigerant systems. This type of gauge is useful for troubleshooting issues with refrigerators and other cooling systems, as well as for evacuating and recharging a system.

Uniweld presents Double Gauge Manifold - R32/R410A-QS8N3SM. The Double Gauge Manifold is a device used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to control pressurization. This type of manifold is used on a system that has two cylinders, each with its own pressure set at two different levels. The Double Gauge Manifold has two gauges attached to it, one on each cylinder allowing the technician to see what each cylinder's pressure is at.
In order to maintain the proper pressure in each cylinder, the technician must first know the total amount of refrigerant in the system without any being added or taken away from it. Once this number is known, the technician can calculate how much of it should be put into each cylinder separately through a process called charging. Charging consists of using a refrigeration machine to remove the refrigerant from one cylinder and putting it into another. When charging has finished, both cylinders must have identical pressures for them to work properly together.
The most common installation of a Double Gauge Manifold on an air conditioner would be when there are two compressors on one unit, which is called single stage and is most common in residential systems. A system like this will have one High-side (cool side) and one Low-side (hot side) manifold. This device is also ideal for use with multiple cylinders because it allows you to keep an even amount of pressure in each cylinder without over-pressurizing one or under-pressurizing another. Different gauges are used on each side, so you will be able to monitor how much pressure there is in both sides at once

Uniweld presents Refrigeration Gauge HP Rd Pls - G29LD-5. A refrigerant gauge is a simple piece of equipment that can be used to test the levels of refrigerant in various HVAC systems. This allows the technician to ensure that no leaks exist before adding any new refrigerant to the system, avoiding evacuation and recharge requirements. The gauge is also used to show technicians whether or not they are low on refrigerant or if there is an overcharge of refrigerant within the system. A standard refrigerant gauge usually comes with a 0-3000 psi scale with a 100 psi increments, which makes it easy to measure any amount of pressure within the system.
In order for the technician to use a gauge, he or she must first know how to set up a leak test on the system. Using a copper tube with an end cap and a small amount of soapy water inside, the technician places one end of the copper tube into the soapy water and submerges it into one of the lines that are connected to the evaporator coil. If there is no leak present in this line, bubbles will begin to appear in only one area of the copper line. The technician then switches over to his or her gauging device and attaches it to this line where bubbles are not appearing.
A series of numbers and arrows on a circular dial indicate how much gas is inside the system: if there is too much gas—a condition known as overcharging—the arrow points upwards to indicate that more gas needs to be released. If there is not enough gas in the system, the arrow points downwards, indicating that more gas needs to be added. When both arrows are pointing upwards (or downwards), it means that there is an equal amount of gas at each port and that a compressor needs to be activated in order for cooling or heating to take place.
