Polycab 1 sq mm 3 Core Sheathed Multi Core Industrial Flexible Cable is made from flexible insulation, which is comprised of PVC compound and cross-linked polyolefin (XLPE) compounds. The cable uses three cores and has 100 metres long. It can be used for general purpose applications such as domestic appliances and equipment that require a power supply. Each conductor cord is sheathed in black PVC and the overall sheath is PVC. The cable features high tensile strength and excellent flexibility, making it suitable for installation in factories, buildings and other industrial areas. It has a resistance to abrasion, making it ideal for applications where the cable may be exposed to damage during transportation or use.
The conductor is usually stranded (grouped) conductors into a single unit. It also provides resistance to fire and some types can prevent electrical current leakage at high temperatures. It is used for automotive applications and for use in machines and industrial equipment because of its flexibility, durability and superior insulation properties. Because of the cable’s design, it is suitable for use as a submersible or underground conduit cable.
