The DC 12V to AC 220V Converter System is an advanced technology product that converts DC power from a battery or any other DC source, into AC power. This converter works on any DC voltage between 9-18V with a maximum current rating of 2A. The input voltage range can be extended up to 24V by using an external linear regulator IC (LM2596). It has a maximum continuous current rating of 2A. This device can also be used as a battery charger for lead acid batteries with a nominal voltage of 12V and a maximum charging current of 2A. The current sensor of this converter is fully integrated inside the circuit, so it does not require any separate current sensing resistor or configuration. The device uses PWM control scheme along with full wave rectification technique which ensures high efficiency operation even at partial load conditions. It features over voltage protection, over temperature protection, short circuit protection and thermal shutdown modes which protect your valuable load from damage due to overloads or faults in the system. The LED display shows the output voltage and current parameters in real time so you can monitor your load status at all times without having to touch the unit. The power cord comes with an inline fuse to protect your system from any damage.
