ARB Tapered Roller Bearing, Inner Dia 44 mm, Outer Dia 89 mm, Width 29 mm, HM-803149/HM-803110 are well-suited to the high shaft speeds, heavy loads, and shock loads that are the characteristics of modern machinery. There are two basic types: solid and tapered roller bearings. Solid roller bearings are made up of a single row of rollers and come in a variety of designs depending on their application.
Tapered roller bearings have an inner ring with cone-shaped ends and an outer ring with tapered raceways for the cone ends. Both also contain annular rings, cage assemblies, and end shields. The tapered roller bearing is designed such that each element of the tapered roller bearing is so that all element of the roller and raceways cones meet at a common apex on the bearing axis.
The rollers are guided by the contact between the large end of the roller and the rib on the inner ring (cone). This construction provides a high capacity for radial loads, axial loads and combined loads.
The larger the contact angle, the greater the loading capacity becomes. When a pure radial is placed on the bearing, an induced load in the axial direction is also generated. So these bearings are generally used in pairs opposing each other.
Proper running clearance or preload can be obtained by adjusting the distance of the two bearings against one another.

NBC Tapered Roller Bearing 44.45 mm Bore Dia x 88.9 mm Outer Dia, HM803149/HM803110 is a type of precision-engineered rolling-element bearing commonly used in various industrial applications, particularly in machinery where axial and radial loads need to be efficiently supported. These bearings are designed to handle both thrust (axial) and radial (perpendicular to the shaft) loads, making them versatile and highly reliable components. The key features of tapered roller bearings are as follows: Tapered Rollers: Tapered roller bearings have conical (tapered) rollers, which are responsible for distributing the load in such a way that it can handle both axial and radial forces. The tapered design allows for greater contact between the rollers and the raceways, distributing loads more evenly and reducing friction. Cone and Cup: Tapered roller bearings consist of two main components: the cone (inner ring) and the cup (outer ring). The cone contains the rollers and the cage assembly, while the cup holds the cone and provides a surface for the rollers to run on. Angle: The angle of the taper between the rollers and the bearing axis is critical. The angle can vary, but a common angle is around 15-30 degrees. This angle affects the bearing's ability to handle axial and radial loads, with steeper angles typically offering better axial load support. Radial and Axial Load Distribution: Tapered roller bearings are designed to handle both thrust and radial loads. The combination of the tapered rollers and the conical shape enables efficient load distribution, ensuring that the bearing can withstand forces in multiple directions. High Precision: Tapered roller bearings are engineered for high precision and reliability, making them suitable for applications with stringent performance requirements, such as automotive wheel hubs, gearboxes, and heavy machinery. Durability: These bearings are known for their durability and long service life, even in demanding conditions where heavy loads and high-speed rotation are involved. Tapered Roller Bearing Applications: Tapered roller bearings are used in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, agriculture, construction, and manufacturing. They are commonly found in wheel hubs, differentials, transmission systems, and other critical machinery components. In summary, tapered roller bearings are essential components in many industrial and automotive applications due to their ability to efficiently support both radial and axial loads. Their tapered roller design, precise manufacturing, and durability make them a reliable choice for critical components that require high-performance bearings.
