This SOLISTRAND closed barrel parallel splice is made of fine grade, highly conductive copper and is tin plated. The barrel is closed with a brazed seam, providing a uniform metal strength around the barrel. The inner surface of the barrel of this SOLISTRAND parallel splice is either dimpled or serrated so that the electrical contact area and tensile strength after crimping are maximized |
