TE Connectivity 0.5 mm FPC connectors. 0.5 mm pitch FFC / FPC connectors are ideal when standard wire-to-board connectors are too large when routing signals between devices. These 0.5 mm FFC / FPC connectors are ZIF (zero insertion / extraction force) and use an actuator to secure the FPC. ZIF connectors have low contact wear, have a large number of insertion / removal cycles, and provide excellent holding power in high vibration environments. These 0.5 mm FPC connectors have a slide lock actuator that can be securely mated when the FPC is inserted into the connector with the actuator open and the actuator is closed. No installation tool is required. The connector's solder tab allows the connector to be securely fixed to the board. These 0.5 mm FPC connectors are available in vertical and right-angle mounting types with upper or lower contact configurations. Features and benefits.
