It bonds instantly to most plastics, rubber, ceramic, metal like non porous substrates & porous substrates like wood, leather etc. Vetra MV 602 acts as an instant glue that can be used on porous and non-porous surfaces. Vetra MV 602 dries quickly and provides a permanent bond. Vetra MV 602 can be used on automotive parts such as head lights or tail lights where there may be vibration or movement from the car body. Vetra MV 602 will not stick well to Teflon or any other fluoropolymer surfaces but can bond well with other types of materials such as glass and ceramics. Vetra MV 602 can bond multiple times without any deterioration of properties but it should not be allowed to dry up completely between applications. Vetra MV 602 is safer to use than other instant adhesives and the working time is longer i.e., 5 minutes at room temperature or 2 minutes at 80°C depending upon the surface temperature.
