Supreme Pumps 0.5 HP Single Phase SMD 85 Seal less Magnetic Drive Chemical Pump FLP Motor is a chemical pump that uses magnetic force to move the chemicals. The seal less magnetic drive chemical pump can be used with a variety of chemicals, such as water-based fluids, oils and other types of liquids. The seal less magnetic drive chemical pump consists of various components including a base plate, motor assembly and impeller. The base plate houses all of the other parts of the pump, while the motor assembly and impeller are located atop it. The motor assembly includes an electric motor which is responsible for spinning the impeller. The impeller is made up of several blades which create a high pressure jet stream inside the tubing attached to it when it spins at high speeds. This jet stream moves through any liquid present inside the tubing at high speeds generating enough pressure to push all fluids out through their destination point without using any seals or valves whatsoever. The Sealless Magnetic Drive Pumps are used for transferring fluids and powders in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and food industries. The pump has been designed to pump viscous liquids that require a large amount of torque at low speeds. The pump is driven by a magnetic impeller that rotates in an air gap between two poles. The rotation of the impeller creates an air cushion between its rim and the stator. This cushion provides sufficient suction to pull fluid from any position within the pump's suction range. As a result, no seals are required for this type of pump, making it ideal for applications where leaks can be very damaging or even catastrophic.
