The full shrouded housing on these AMP CT SMT headers protects the contacts from scooping during connector mating/unmating. These AMP CT headers feature polarization and mating retention features that enable an accurate and secure connection with a mating cable connector. Solder tabs on each side of the connector housing ensure a secure connection to the board. These AMP CT SMT headers are also available with board locating bosses that allow for precise placement of the header on the board. These AMP CT 2 mm SMT headers are available in vertical or right angle mounting configurations.
