Power management is handled by an integrated circuit (IC), so there are no fuses to replace if something goes wrong.The Robodo V6.0 Output BEC 3A XT60 Plug 28V 90A APM/Pixhawk Power Module is a very well-designed and high-quality device, but it does have one major flaw: the voltage regulator overheats very easily. In testing, we found that if you run the output power of the module at more than 60% of its maximum capacity, which is about 45 amps, the heat starts to become unbearable. This can cause a delay in motor response and can even cause a total shutdown of the vehicle's electrical system. The module's design allows for an easy fix by adding some additional cooling. A small copper heatsink will help dissipate the extra heat in this case by drawing off some of the module's heat onto itself before it has a chance to be transferred into the air around it.
