Mean Well 300 W Railway-Qualified Rectified Isolated DC-DC Converter - RSD 300 Series. The Mean Well RSD-300 series rail power supplies meet the diverse requirements of rolling stock applications. Compliant with railway certifications (EN 50155, IEC 60571, IEC 61373, EN 50121-3-2), they are ideal for DC-powered rolling stock applications. These power supplies are vibration resistant to 5 G and offer a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +70°C. They also offer protection against short circuits, overloads, overvoltage, overtemperature, and reverse input polarity, as well as built-in current limiting circuitry. They offer high efficiencies of up to 91% and a semi-enclosed board design for basic protection against moisture, dust, and heat dissipation. They can also be cooled without forced airflow, operating over a wide temperature range of -40 to +70% of ambient. These Mean Well power supplies are ideal for harsh environment applications and DC-powered rolling stock in general. Applications include railways, urban rapid transit systems, subways, buses, recreational vehicles, marine vehicles, security systems, DC UPS systems, and telecommunications equipment. Compliant with EN 50155 (IEC 60571) railway regulations. 2:1 wide input range. 4000 V DC input/output isolation. High efficiency up to 91%. Cooling by natural convection. Built-in constant current limiting circuit. Protection against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating, and reverse input polarity (without damage) at 105°C using long-life electrolytic capacitors. Power-on LED indicator. 100% full-load burn-in test. Wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70°C. |
