POSCAP TPF Series. Panasonic TPF series tantalum capacitors are part of the POSCAP series. Using sintered tantalum as the anode material, this porous material with a large surface area achieves a maximum capacitance of 1000 μF. By using a conductive polymer electrolyte with excellent conductivity, the ESR is kept extremely low at 5 mΩ. TPF tantalum capacitors offer excellent heat resistance and reliability, making them ideal for high-frequency and digital equipment. Solid electrolytic chip capacitors offer excellent frequency characteristics, lower impedance than standard aluminum electrolytic capacitors and tantalum capacitors, and a high ripple current rating due to their low ESR. The conductive polymer provides a self-healing mechanism. Tantalum oxide eliminates vibration and noise on the board. Applications. Ideal applications include backup capacitors, bypass capacitors, and noise suppression in digital devices. These tantalum capacitors can be used in PCs, mobile phones, home appliances, automobiles, industrial equipment, and more. |
