These cables are specially designed for connecting PV Modules for complete solar system installation. They are manufactured from premium grade raw materials such as virgin FR grade PVC, electrolytic multi-strand annealed copper conductor, tin coated (optional) and the most important UV-protected XLPO compound for sheathing. The Electrolytic grade 99.99% pure copper wires have a very low conductor resistance (<0.0015Ω/m) compared to the uncoated copper wire which has a resistance of about 0.0045Ω/m at 25°C under dry conditions). Additionally, these wires provide excellent mechanical strength due to the high tensile strength and elongation properties of copper conductors (minimum 10%). We provide these products with different dimensions such as AWG, mm2 or sq. mm etc. When you scratch the TIN coating, you will get the pure copper cables inside. XLPE cables are PURE annealed copper cables with TIN coating on top to improve the conductivity as per TUV standards. Using regular copper cables for solar applications is not advisable.
