The Kartar Cast Iron Butterfly Valve Wafer Type (Slimline Range) K 706 is a butterfly valve with a hand lever. It is made from solid cast iron, and comes in a choice of colours - white or sand painted. This wafer butterfly is suitable for hot or cold water applications. This control valve is made of ductile cast iron disc and has a minimum pressure requirement of 1000 psi (69 bar). These butterfly valves are designed for industrial and utility applications where cast iron is the preferred material. They are suitable for laboratory, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
The industrial valve is suitable for hand operation and can be operated with one hand by a quarter turn of the lever. The wafer body is slimline which makes it ideal for where space is at a premium.
