The ValveQuip VQ-20.1 is a wafer butterfly valve, with the disc cast into the handle's vanes. The disc sealing is achieved by the evolved composite rubber and spring washer design of this butterfly valve in combination with a second hardened steel wear ring. The disc has a mated wafer-type seating. It can handle up to 50 bar (700 psi) pressure and temperature ratings up to 100 °C at the fully open position. The disc design of this product is made of high-quality, imported nitrile or ethylene propylene rubber, which has good resistance to heat, not easy to break and deform. The disc seat is moulded with a gel-free EPDM sponge. This Valve is suitable for hydraulic system applications requiring significant flow rates. This Valve can be used for high temperature and pressure applications.
