The Leader CCS 040 is a swing check valve with a S.T.P. of 168.5 bar and B.T.P. of 231 bar, BS : 1868/API 6D Class - 900 Bolted Bonnet and cast carbon steel body with renewable seats made from 13% chromium steel. The Leader CCS 040 has been designed for use with gas, water or other liquids at high pressures up to 168.5 bar without fail with its excellent design, material properties and high quality of craftsmanship. Swing Check Valves are generally used as isolation valves, to isolate nitrogen from the pipeline. They are also suitable for use with hydrocarbons. The valves are available in two different materials - cast carbon steel and forged carbon steel. The check valve is designed to close against any pressure differential occurring in the system.
