Invento 100ft(±5ft) Kapton Tape

Kapton Tape's thinness and low melting point of 170°C/338°F make it unsuitable for any application where the adhesive could be exposed to high heat for an extended time period, such as directly under a soldering iron; its strength would be compromised after 20 seconds at 260°C/500°F (the melting point of the tape). Also, its adhesion properties decrease dramatically above 100°C (212°F) and completely fail at 200°C (392°F). Because of this, Kapton Tape should never be used directly on top of a new print while it is still hot—it will likely peel off when the print cools down. However, if you don't mind sacrificing 25 micrometers (0.001") off your build height, you can let your 3D printer run through a few quick cycles before applying the tape. Invento Kapton Tape is a high-temperature insulation tape with high heat resistance used extensively in electronics industry, it is also applied to the 3d printer to use as electrical insulation or adhesion between ABS and PLA prints.

One roll of Invento Kapton Tape can be used to insulate a large area on various types of electronic components and appliances. The tape is effective for insulation of transformers, coils, motors, capacitors and frequency conversion power supply. This heat resistant tape can resist heat from 220℃ to 300℃. Kapton tape can also be used to protect and insulate ABS and PLA prints on 3D printers.
