Taparia 41mm Single Ended Open Jaw Spanner (SER 41) (Pack of 2) - Single ended open jaw spanners are used where there is limited access to the nut or bolt head. The spanners are used in situations where a normal open end wrench cannot be used due to clearance problems.

The single ended open jaw spanners are generally made of high carbon steel and can be supplied with or without teeth. They have a hexagonal body and two jaws, one of which has a face width greater than its depth, the other smaller than its depth. Both jaws are curved to conform with the shape of the nut or bolt head without distorting it excessively, which would make them difficult to use on other nuts or bolts of similar size.

Single ended open jaw spanners are used for turning and removing nuts and bolts, etc. They are made of high quality cast steel with hardened teeth for durability. The shank is made of a light alloy steel tube which is heat treated and chrome plated to provide abrasion resistance and avoid rusting.
