ENTER E-UL100 USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet Adapter

The ENTER E-UL100 USB2.0 TO 10/100M Fast Ethernet controller is a high performance and highly integrated ASIC, and it is compliant with USB specification v1.1 and v2.0,the 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN function based on IEEE802.3,and IEEE802.3u standard, and simple plug-and-play Fast Ethernet network connection capability for desktops, notebook PC’s, and other devices that support USB interface.

The USB2.0 TO 10/100M Fast Ethernet controller supports full duplex operation in 10/100 mbps modes, which helps to reduce the bandwidth waste and improve the overall bandwidth utilization efficiency of the network. The controller supports both full speed (12 Mbit/s) and high speed (480 Mbit/s) data rates over a single twisted pair cable in 10Base-T mode or over two twisted pair cables in 100Base-TX mode. The controller also supports USB Full and High-Speed modes with bus power capacity, so it can be used on a laptop PC or netbook computer that has no power adapter and only runs on battery power (enabling the USB host to draw power from the device).

The controller features an LED indicator to indicate power status as well as Ethernet connection status. The upstream port is a USB type A connector, while the downstream port is an RJ45 connector; LEDs indicate power status and Ethernet connection status for each port independently (blue for power status; green for Ethernet connection).
