• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK is two component acrylic-modified flexible cementitious waterproofing membrane coating particularly designed for Concrete and Masonry surface, which is supplied in ready-mix kits (two parts). When the powder part is mixed with acrylic-modified emulsion and applied. It will become flexible and seamless waterproof membrane and acts as an excellent water barrier to Concrete and Masonry Surface.
• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK provides a long lasting protection against water ingress through the concrete blockwork or masonry walls. It forms a continuous flexible seal over the entire surface area, helping to reduce the risk of future deterioration caused by water penetration.

Applications

• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK is designed for use on interior and exterior concrete floors, driveways and walls. It is ideal for use on slabs that are subject to water damage from leaks or efflorescence (white salt deposits) due to poor drainage. It can also be used on swimming pools, water tanks, reservoirs and other concrete surfaces subject to damage from moisture.
• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK can be applied by brush or trowel. Do not dilute with water. The recommended coverage rate is approximately 1.65-1.75kg/m2/2 coat (minimum two coat should be applied) Allow the slurry to cure for at least 4-6 hour before applying a second coat

How to use

Surface Preparation

• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK is a high performance waterproofing membrane for use on concrete and masonry substrates. TRUBUILD AQUALOCK can be applied to both interior and exterior surfaces.
• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK is designed to provide a watertight barrier to protect the substrate from moisture penetration. When properly installed it will allow new concrete and masonry substrate to fully cure prior application.
• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK should be installed during the curing process of new concrete or masonry substrates, prior to being exposed to rain or other forms of precipitation.

Mixing

• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK is a two-component, water-based epoxy resin system for building floors, walls and surfaces. It is easy to apply and has excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates.
• TRUBUILD AQUALOCK can be applied on all types of concrete, brick or stone surfaces including polished, rough and uneven substrates. The curing time is 90 minutes at 20°C (68°F).
• Using mechanical mixer, slowly add Powder part to Liquid part in a clean container until a smooth and homogenous slurry mixture is achieved
• Allow the mixed slurry to stand for 5-10 minutes for releasing air-trapped during the mixing prior to application. Mixing material must be use within recommend pot life(40-45min)

Application

• Trubuild Aqualock is a two coat system. The first layer acts as a primer, while the second layer of slurry provides the actual finish.

Curing

• Trubuild Aqualock is a high performance, self-leveling, polymer modified cementitious screed. It is used in the construction of swimming pools, spas and water tanks.
• Trubuild Aqualock is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications including swimming pools, spas, water tanks, ponds and fountains. Trubuild Aqualock can also be used to level concrete slabs and floors prior to being covered with carpeting or other floor covering materials.
• After application of 2nd coat, allow the system to air cure for 5 to 6 hours. This should be followed by moist curing by sprinkling /spraying of potable water for 24 hours. After moist curing, the surface should be allowed to air cure for 3 to 5 days before covering it with screed or other decorative finishes such as tiles or natural stone products (if required).
