• TCSR-555 is a two component epoxy system that has been developed for the repair of old and new concrete structures which are in need of strengthening. The system consists of a hardener and a resin which are mixed together on site at the time of application. The resin component contains high quality polymer resins with excellent adhesion and durability characteristics. The hardener component has been designed to provide high strength under both wet and dry conditions.

Applications

• TRUBUILD TCSR-555 is a high performance epoxy resin based product. It is a two-component liquid epoxy adhesive which is used to bond old concrete/mortar to new concrete/mortar, repair old concrete structure and it can be extended further. It can be injected to seal damp & wet cracks more than 2mm by high-pressure injection and for better adhesion of concrete and steel.

How to Use

• Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and remove all loose particles, dirt, dust, laitance, oil grease etc by using wire brush, scrapping or grit blasting, pressurized air or water jet.
• After surface preparation apply a thin coat of grout material to the area to be bonded. Apply material over an area larger than the actual size of joint to be filled. If needed apply more material on the joint surface so that it is completely covered with material. Allow to dry for 2 hours at room temperature before applying pressure. Once dried apply pressure on joints by means of screw pressure testing machine (auto press) at a pressure of 200 psi for 10 minutes or by using hand pressure for 15 minutes or until joints are completely filled up with grout material and show no evidence of voids along the edge of joint by means of surface gauge or penetrometer.

• The product is a two-component system that can be applied by brush or pump sprayer. The application of TRUBUILD TCSR-555 results in an elastic, flexible coating that provides excellent adhesion to the substrate and resists cracking.
• The product is suitable for use on all types of concrete substrates including new concrete, old concrete, stone and masonry surfaces.
• The product can also be used as a waterproofing membrane for areas where the substrate requires waterproofing but cannot be removed or replaced (such as flyovers).???????
