The Loctite 300 ml Cartridge Flange Sealant Loctite 5205 is a medium-strength (3 N/mm² tensile shear strength) methacrylate-based gasket product with semi-flexible capability. Although this may sound technical, the product's intended for use with rigid metal flanges and is used typically as a form-in-place gasket on gearboxes and engine casings. Note that this cartridge seals gaps up to 0.25 mm and cures anaerobically.

Gaskets produce impermeable barriers to prevent fluid or gas leakage.
