The Kennedy Screw Cutting Gauge is manufactured from hardened and polished steel. The heads are available in four different sizes.

The heads are manufactured in 60° American and Metric, 55° Whit and BSF, 471/2° BA and 141/2° Acme angles. They are hardened to a Rockwell C 52-54 hardness for long wear.

The head design allows the gauge to be used either with a square or round shank taps. A thread hole is provided at the end of each head so that the operator can use it to check depth of thread without having to change taps.
