The Berger BP Cement Primer Solvent Thinnable - Alkali Resistant is the first step in a two-part paint system. This interior all-purpose primer can be applied on most substrates and will adhere on surfaces that have been previously stripped, sanded and cleaned with a suitable alkali-resistant detergent.  It is a paint designed to give a professional finish and provide anti-rust protection. It is easy to apply and dries fast. This paint primer solvent has an excellent adhesion on most substrates.  It is an interior quality oil based solvent-free primer, formulated especially to be used as a final coat on brick and cement surfaces prior to the application of water-based coatings. It is a highly active primer which gives excellent adhesion to old, greasy or soiled surfaces, providing protection against efflorescence and erosion from atmospheric agents.
