Fluke 406E Laser Distance Meter flawlessly measures the distance of an object or a span without making any direct contact. The distance is determined by using a laser. The basic principle for measuring is based on determining the transit time of the laser pulse between the laser distance meter and the object whose distance from the meter has to be calculated.
Fluke 406E Laser Distance Meter is efficient enough to make quick measurements. It can calculate distance, volume, area, and Pythagoras. The distance meter has the ability to auto-level height and can withstand dusty and rainy conditions. The measuring instrument has also been drop tested from a height of 1 meter. It has been rated to be IP54. Also, some other features include auxiliary level measurement and an electronic angle display. The meter has up to 100 sets of data storage and its power gets cut off automatically in case it stays inactive for continuous 3 minutes.
