RACER GATE VALVES are forged steel body gate valves, with forged steel bonnet and disc. The bonnet is fitted with a valve disc, made from forged steel, which has been hardened and tempered to BS4360-1 standards.

The flanged ends are manufactured in accordance with DIN 2593/DIN codes and ASTM A 306 Grade B16-B7.

All shafts are made from EN-8 steel and the shafting is supplied with a PTFE lining for improved lubrication of the stem. The stem is fitted with a close tolerance needle roller bearing which allows for precise movement of the gate in both directions.

The valves can be supplied with either a manual or automatic actuator as required by the customer, either handwheel or gearbox driven. Manual actuators are available in both electrically operated or hydraulic models.
