JOHN OAKEY 80 Grit Silicon Carbide R/R Water Proof Emery Paper are made from a combination of finely graded aluminium oxide and silicon carbide. The sheets are available in various grades and colours. The colours help to identify the abrasive used in the paper. For example, blue indicates aluminium oxide, while green suggests silicon carbide
The sheet goods are generally used manually for offhand applications. In some cases, they are also used on hand sanding machines. Flint, Multicut, & Aloxide Papers are typically used on wood. Emery paper & Cloth are usually used for metal application Water. As the name suggests, Proof Paper is used for wet applications such as in tinkering & painting AutomoWaterproof.
