This is a professional label printer. It can print on many materials, such as paper, vinyl, cloth, leather, etc. It has an auto-cutter, so you don't have to cut the label yourself. You can use it as a label printer or sticker printer. The sticker paper is not included in the package and is sold separately.

A label construction comprises three layers; a face material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and a backing sheet coated in a release agent. The layers are laminated together and then die-cut to produce the individual labels.

The face material is usually a paper or polyester film. Pressure-sensitive adhesives bond the label material to an item of packaging or another surface that needs labelling. In some cases, this adhesive is heat-activated during the application, but in others, it remains inert until after application when it is activated by exposure to moisture or heat.

Release agents are used on backing sheets to prevent them from sticking to each other during production and handling. Once the labels have been cut from the backing sheet, however, they must be protected from contamination by dust or dirt which would interfere with their adhesion properties once applied to an item of packaging or other surfaces.
