The product can be used with oil based paints or 100% acrylic emulsions and has a shelf life of 12 months when unopened.

The putty can be used to prepare walls before painting, which helps provide better coverage of paint on the wall surface. Also, this putty can fill larger holes and cracks in drywall so that subsequent coats of paint better adhere to the surface.
