The purpose of the primer is to seal the surface against moisture and contaminants. It also helps to get a smooth, level surface for the topcoat to adhere to. Especially on surfaces that have been previously painted without priming or have a high oil content (such as Limed surfaces or previously painted surfaces) it is important that a primer be used. Dulux Solvent Based Cement Primer is suitably designed for use on wall applications. Suitable to be used on plastered, masonry, POP, Limed or pre-painted surfaces. Correct Application of the primer ensures best results of topcoat finish and durability of finish coat.

Dulux® Solvent-Based Cement Primer is an oil-based primer that provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including plastered, masonry, POP and pre-painted surfaces. The primer's exceptional adhesion and durability make it ideal for use with Dulux® ColorRite® Premium paints and stains. In regular conditions the product has a long shelf life of approximately 24 months. When stored in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat and light the shelf life is extended to approximately 18 months.
