BIC Aluminium Flux 100g

BIC Aluminium Flux is designed to be used with BIC's range of soldering irons and provides a better quality finish when soldering aluminium to aluminium or copper wires. This aluminium flux can help make the soldering job easier by reducing the chance of oxidation forming on the connection points. Ideal for home repairs and craft work, it is also used in the manufacture of electronic equipment, motors, lighting fixtures and other products requiring high conductivity electrical connections. This is a high quality, general purpose flux that is ideal for joining aluminium to itself or to other non-ferrous metals.

The special formula produces a very clean oxide layer, perfect for subsequent soldering. This aluminium soldering flux has excellent cleaning properties and does not leave any residue. It has a very low water content and is suitable for use with both aluminium to aluminium and aluminium to copper solder alloys such as EN AW-6063 and EN AW-6082. It is designed to protect the metal from oxidation and therefore enables a good wetting action.
