The Air is tested and certified according to EN 12941 with the highest protection class TH3, which means it protects against particles and fumes related to welding and grinding applications. It also protects against gases that are harmful to health, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide.

The BÖHLER Air is equipped with an audio, visual and vibration alarm to inform the user about the low battery and filters that need to be changed. The system can be charged using a standard power outlet or a car cigarette lighter adapter.

The system consists of a mask, a battery pack, a hose, and a connection piece that can be connected directly to the torch handle or the most common welding hoods.
