The Whatman GF/C Grade Glass Microfiber Filter 1822-037 has a diameter of 37 mm and is made of borosilicate glass. This filter has a retention of 1.2µm with a water flow rate of 105 ml/min, making it capable of removing small particles from fluids that pass through it. The Whatman GF/C Grade Glass Microfiber Filter 1822-037 features a thin membrane allowing you to see through it when used as an ultrafiltration technique that reduces pressure drop in equipment. Whatman GF/C filters are manufactured from high-quality borosilicate glass using established manufacturing techniques. The surface of this filter paper is anodised after filtration to provide a hydrophobic film that minimises the adsorption of proteins and other contaminating substances. The Insertion ring prevents damage to the filter and the neck of the vacuum bulb while retaining the shape and integrity of the glass microfiber filter. It is easily removed by hand, or a retaining clip can be used on long-term storage to prevent pressure changes.
