The ammeter enables the user to measure the current in an electrical circuit in forward or reverse direction. The meter has an analog needle movement display with a scale of 0 - 35 Amps. It has a clamp that can measure currents up to 35A (250V). The meter features an easy to read rotational scale, and is housed in a sturdy metal case with a handle making it ideal for taking on site measurements. There are high quality copper leads that are 14 gauge, which is thicker than most. For durability and long life, this ammeter has a 3-1/2-inch diameter PVC enclosure that's resistant to UV rays. The ammeter measures 0 to 400 amps AC, has a dial range of 0 to 10 amps and has an accuracy of within 0.5% of full scale. The dial range is in both directions and you can select the direction by lifting the knob on the front of the ammeter. You can perform measurements in three different positions and it's suitable for residential, commercial and industrial use. This moving coil ammeter also includes a test light with 6 feet of cable that can be used on either side of the meter as well as an adjustable stand. This allows you to switch between three different measurement ranges: low, medium and high.
